April 10th Riverkeeper Patrol

Spirit of Moonpie and I spent the 10th through the 12th on the Blackwater below Franklin.  The water was high that first day, fast, clear and 60 degrees.  Air temps ranged from 37 to 68 degrees and the wind never ceased.  Read more →

March 29th Nottoway Patrol

Spirit of Moonpie and I spent the 29th through the 31st on the Nottoway below Hercules.  The water was 69 degrees fast, colored and high at 12 ft. on the U.S.G.S. gauge at Sebrell.  Air temps ranged from 47 to 75 degrees.  Trash was heavier than normal, which is usually the case when the water is high.  Read more →
